Photovoltaic power generation project of machinery enterprise in Huzhou, China
Changxing Tuoke Machinery Co., Ltd. in Huzhou specializes in high-temperature molten metal and uses high energy-consuming facilities for industrial production, which consume a lot of power during the production process and incur high electricity costs before the installation of AIKO’s photovoltaic (PV) modules. The project has an installed area of 12,000 square meters and a total installed capacity of 1.98 MW, in the mode of self-generation for self-consumption, feeding surplus power into the local power grid.

Annual power generation
The project is expected to generate more than 2 million kWh of electricity per year; before and after the installation of AIKO’s PV modules, the annual power consumption of the company is about 1.5 million kWh and 880,000 kWh respectively; the surplus power can be fed into the local power grid to obtain economic benefits.
Project challenge
The client uses high energy-consuming facilities in the production process and consumes a lot of power, but its rooftop area is limited, so it is concerned about the conversion efficiency of the modules to be used and puts forward high requirements for their efficiency.
Solution
The project utilizes 3,048 N-type ABC mono-glass 650W modules from AIKO, with a capacity of 1.98 MW. The partial shading optimization function of AIKO‘s ABC module is an effective solution to the impact of weed/tree shading on power generation efficiency, and its High Temperature Restriction function can further guarantee power generation during the hot summer months.
